What Is Drip Irrigation?

Drip irrigation is the most efficient way to water a landscape. Instead of spraying water into the air, it delivers it slowly and directly to the base of each plant — right where the roots can use it.

We use Rain Bird Xerigation, the industry’s most trusted low-volume drip system, to water everything from garden beds to container plants across San Antonio with almost no waste.

Why Rain Bird

Built on Rain Bird Xerigation

Rain Bird invented low-volume landscape drip — they call it Xerigation — and it’s still the most efficient, longest-lasting drip system you can put in the ground.

Every drip system we install uses genuine Rain Bird dripline, emitters, and components, sized and zoned for your exact landscape.

Pressure-compensating emitters for even watering end to end
Dual-layer tubing that resists UV, algae & clogging
Sized and zoned for your exact beds and plants
Rain Bird subsurface drip irrigation lines laid out across a prepped San Antonio yard before sod

Already Have Sprinklers? We Can Retrofit Them to Drip

One of the most common questions we get is whether you have to tear out your existing system to switch to drip. In most cases, you don’t. We can convert an existing spray zone — flower beds or grass — over to drip using a genuine Rain Bird retrofit head that threads right onto your current sprinkler body. On Rain Bird 1800-series heads, it usually goes in without any digging.

How the retrofit works:

A Rain Bird 1800-RETRO assembly drops into your existing pop-up body, turning that spray head into a clean drip connection point
A 30 PSI pressure regulator and 200-mesh filter are built right into the head — no separate filter box to bury
We run Rain Bird dripline and emitters off it to your beds, shrubs, pots, or trees, then cap the other heads on that zone
Works for flower beds and planters — and we can subsurface-drip your grass areas the same way, off the lines you already have
Should you switch?
