Boerne, the Kendall County seat, was founded by German settlers in 1849 and has grown quickly, from about 17,850 residents in 2020 to an estimated 24,000 or more today. Its water setup is one of the most distinctive in the Hill Country. All American Irrigation Systems repairs, upgrades and installs sprinkler systems across Boerne. Call (210) 826-6474.

Boerne Utilities customers have been in Stage 2 since August 7, 2023, according to the city’s water restrictions page:

• Sprinklers and irrigation systems run one weekday per week, 7–11 a.m. and 7–11 p.m.
• Your day is set by the last digit of your address: 0/1 Monday, 2/3 Tuesday, 4/5 Wednesday, 6/7 Thursday, 8/9 Friday.
• No weekend watering, in any stage.
• Hand watering with a hose or bucket is allowed any time.
• The rules also apply to reclaimed water customers, and fines can reach $1,000.

Boerne’s hours aren’t the same as SAWS’s, so check the city’s water restrictions page and set your controller to Boerne’s schedule.

Boerne has one of the largest reclaimed-water networks in the region, with more than 3,000 reclaimed meters. Many newer homes, including in Esperanza, have a separate reclaimed line just for landscape irrigation. Those systems need purple reclaimed-water components and must never be cross-connected to drinking-water lines. We repair and extend reclaimed systems correctly.

Boerne Utilities has offered rebates that line up with our work, including credits for an irrigation system consultation with a licensed professional, rain/freeze sensor installation, rainwater tanks and turf removal. Check with Boerne Utilities for current amounts. We can do the consultation, install the sensor, or cap irrigation for a turf conversion.

The Comfort soil series, very stony clay over limestone at 10 to 20 inches, takes its name from this area, and much of Boerne sits on soil like it. Thin soil and rock mean runoff, shallow lines and tough trenching. We design zones by slope and exposure and program cycle-and-soak runs.

• Sprinkler repair on potable and reclaimed systems.
• New systems with a 7-year parts and labor warranty on new installs.
• Rain/freeze sensors and smart controllers.
• Drip and turf-conversion irrigation work.
• Backflow testing by a licensed tester (BPAT BP0018846).
