Blanco is a small Hill Country town on the Blanco River, with a historic square, ranch land all around it, and one of the most strained water supplies in our service area. All American Irrigation Systems helps Blanco homeowners keep landscapes alive under tight rules, mostly by fixing waste and converting to drip. Call (830) 980-8899.

The City of Blanco runs its own water utility. Its supply is Blanco River water rights plus Canyon Lake water brought in by a long pipeline. When that pipeline broke in July 2023, the city went to emergency Stage 6. Restrictions here move quickly and go further than in most towns.

• City customers: the city’s website shows Stage 3 restrictions as of October 2026. Under the city’s plan, Stage 4 bans automatic sprinkler systems entirely and allows only hand watering, buckets or drip on designated days.
• Private wells: wells in Blanco County fall under the Blanco-Pedernales Groundwater Conservation District, which moved to Stage 3 on April 17, 2026 (outdoor watering two days a week).
• Texas Water Company customers in Blanco County follow TWC’s every-other-week schedule.

Check the City of Blanco for the current stage and your days before you run a cycle.

In Blanco, a system that only works when sprinklers are allowed can sit unused for months. We design and retrofit with that in mind:

• Drip zones for beds, shrubs, trees and foundations, which stay usable when spray zones aren’t.
• Smaller lawn areas on efficient rotary nozzles, so a short window covers more ground.
• Leak checks first, because every gallon matters on a restricted supply.
• Separate controllers or programs for drip and spray, so you can shut spray zones off without losing your drip schedule.

Blanco sits around 1,300 feet on shallow, rocky soil over limestone. Water runs off fast and the soil holds little. Slow-application nozzles, cycle-and-soak programming and mulch over drip lines all help water stay where the roots are.

• Sprinkler and drip repair: leaks, valves, heads, wiring and controllers.
• Drip conversions and new low-volume systems.
• Well-fed systems sized to your pump.
• New installations with a 7-year parts and labor warranty on new installs.
• Backflow testing by a licensed tester (BPAT BP0018846).
